Happy and Safe Holi with Kids

Hi friends, The festival of colors, holi is round the corner. Kids are the one who are most excited to celebrate this colorful festival. Right from buying the latest type of pichkari in the market, to planning the best way to burst those water balloons, children wait eagerly for this colorful festival. But this is the time that parents need to be extra cautious with your kids so that they don’t harm themselves in the spirit of the festival.

Here are few tips to keep your kids safe while playing holi:
  1. As far as possible try to use natural, non-toxic colors as they can be easily removed and will not harm your child's skin much.
  2. Make your child wear full-sleeved  clothes and long pants to protect their tender skin
  3. Teach your child to use pichkaari away from other people’s faces, especially their eyes and ears
  4. Apply oil or moisturizing cream all over the body to prevent the colors from sticking to the skin. Oil the child’s hair well before he/she goes to play with colors. This will help protect the skin and hair from the harmful effects of the colors.
  5. Make sure that your kid play holi within the premises decided by you and with people you know.
After all, the most important is that always keep an eye on your child while playing holiHave a happy, colorful and safe holi to u all :-)
